Relegated Super League side Widnes have snapped up Australian prop forward Aaron Summers, 24, from Whitehaven.
Summers becomes the second member of Whitehaven's beaten National League Grand Final team to follow coach Steve McCormack to the Halton Stadium.

Goalkicking centre Mick Nanyn has already signed for the Vikings.

"Aaron is aggressive both in attack and defence and I'm sure Vikings fans will enjoy his style of play," said the 32-year-old McCormack.
